Dear Friends, Neighbors, Supporters, etc, etc!
We faced what felt like should have been an insurmountable challenge…The Digital Gateway. Nothing, and we mean nothing was working in our favor, except a relentless ethos, that losing was simply not an option.
The story of the Digital Gateway is one for the history books, and while the ultimate end of how we manage this 21st century industrial “revolution” has not yet been revealed, we do wonder, who will ultimately be seen as the revolutionaries? The Data Center Industry, or The People who refused to cede their homes, their property, their water, their communities, their power grid, and ultimately the very principles of representative government.
With each new threat, our Coalition “family” grows. And a new supporter shared this thought…
When you climb a mountain, getting to the top is daunting, and you aren’t sure how you are going to make it. And that’s when you have to turn around, look behind you, and see how far you have come.
The Coalition is holding a celebration, to acknowledge all the hard work contributed by so many people to fight the Digital Gateway. Your efforts created a huge ripple effect, not only in Prince William, but beyond.
Prince William lit a spark, triggering a backlash against an industry running roughshod over far too many communities.
