Dear Coalition Friends and Supporters,
The Arc of Justice bent hard in our favor – QTS has OFFICIALLY withdrawn from the lawsuit.
As we head into this very special 250th anniversary of our democracy, the rule of law and the common man have prevailed.
We want to acknowledge the American Battlefield Trust and all of the citizen plaintiffs who stayed in the fight to the bitter end, and refused to give up. To Mac Haddow and the Oak Valley Community: in the face of overwhelming opposition, they never faltered. To the amazing legal teams of Chap Petersen, Craig Blakeley and Katherine McDermott: they might have been outmanned but they were never out-maneuvered.
The courage of this entire community will never be fully recognized or understood – but we SEE YOU!
A special shout out to the Prince William Conservation Alliance (PWCA), the Piedmont Environmental Council (PEC), the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA), and the Sierra Club of Great Falls.
QTS and Compass underestimated and miscalculated the strength of this community. None of us gave up!

Blackstone’s QTS Abandons Massive Data Center in Virginia – Bloomberg
“Blackstone Inc.’s QTS is walking away from plans to build its portion of a 2,100-acre data center campus in Virginia, handing a win to residents who fought for years to topple the project.”
“QTS will go away like Disney”
…AND THEY HAVE!
