QTS, as has been their modus operandi since the beginning, has taken the path toward non-redemption. Their corporate legacy will be written in the history books as the Data Center Developer that dragged the image of the entire industry into the toilet.

So – neighbors and friends, near AND far, we want you to know WE are not intimidated. We believe in the rule of law. Lady Justice has been on our side from the outset, her arc consistently bending in our direction.

Do QTS and Blackstone think we can’t find the resources, or don’t have the will to continue?  As usual, they have miscalculated the will and strength of this community.

Blackstone Funds Complete Acquisition of QTS Realty Trust – Blackstone

“Greg Blank and Tyler Henritze, Senior Managing Directors at Blackstone, said, “We are thrilled to complete this transaction and are excited about the future of QTS. QTS aligns with one of Blackstone’s highest conviction themes – data proliferation – and the required investment makes it well suited as a long-term holding for our perpetual capital vehicles. We look forward to working with QTS and its world-class management team to further scale the business to meet the rising demand for data centers.”

“Completing this transaction with Blackstone marks an exciting new chapter for QTS,” said Chad Williams, CEO of QTS. “Our Powered by People approach will continue to be the foundation for how we serve our customers, local communities and each other, enabling QTS to continue setting a new standard for innovation and service delivery in the data center industry.”

QTS and Blackstone have proven their utter contempt for the residents and the local government. We wonder, are they angry that a rag tag teams of citizens and small nonprofits refused to give in?

QTS and Blackstone are the corporate manifestation of why Prince William County and Virginia have turned their backs on this industry.

Poll finds Virginia voters have turned against data centers – The Washington Post

The share of Virginian voters who would be comfortable with construction of a new data center in their community has plunged to 35 percent, according to the Post-Schar School poll conducted late last month, as worries mount in the state and across the nation that the projects are a scourge on the environment and household utility bills.

In closing, we say to QTS and Blackstone, game on!

Stay tuned for fundraising events and opportunities for your final chance to say you played a role in the historical final defeat of one of the wealthiest, greediest, prideful, gluttonous, wrathful companies in the world.
