SCC Raising Questions about Wheeler and New Road Routes:

The SCC sent new interrogatories to Dominion on May 6, 2016 – referencing evidence submitted by citizens at the May 2 hearing, and exploring multiple route possibilities (for example Wheeler, New Rd.) besides the 5 routes Dominion proposed in their application.

Potentially Affected Roads and Streets

Potentially affected is defined here as a road or street with at least one home (the structure, not the property line) within 600 – 1000 feet of a proposed power line … or if noted have a view of the line and towers at least part of the year.  This was calculated by using our interactive google map and an external program.  Please note this is based on best estimates of the line from looking at the Dominion Power provided PDF map.  In addition Dominion Power may move this proposed line at any moment, and finally the SCC may alter the route as well.  So this is really a conservative list and just about everyone within a mile of the line should be deeply concerned.
