Some homeowners on Antioch road saw Dominion Power workers walking on their land recently … suggesting that the New Road alternative, foolish as it seems, may be a real alternative. Feel free to report sighting in the comments part of this post.
Just in case folks are thinking we are looking at the single pole option the Dominion Proposal clearly shows the two pole towers are an option as well. Most of the folks in the direct path are wondering how a normal 20 foot wide power easement can suddenly become a 120 foot easement with no due process? Although some people have stated this can be done under “eminent domain” – but I wonder
If anyone has a specific answer to why Dominion Power feels free to run lines though areas that buy their power from NOVEC please put in comment below.

Industrial scale power lines should take in HUNDRED YEAR timelines so the extra expense to bury them should be acceptable. The people next to these lines will not benefit directly from these lines but will pay for them in visual impact, sound impact, property value impact
