Now, both the Pageland data center application ‘PW Digital Gateway,’ and the 2022 draft Comprehensive Plan Update are re-introducing the ‘Bi-County Parkway’ or Outer Beltway. The lines on the map keep moving to shift to different roads, but some applicants and county planners are pushing this: In some form or fashion, to widen 234 from I-95 through the heart of the county and connect with some combination of widened Pageland Lane, Sanders Lane, Catharpin Road, Gum Spring Road, or even a new 4 lane road!, to connect up to Loudoun County to accommodate all the truck and cargo traffic that proliferating data centers and urbanization of the county will require!
