Rural Crescent Town Hall – September 16

Rural Crescent Town Hall
Monday, September 16
7 PM

Stonewall Jackson High School
Auditorium
8820 Rixlew Lane, Manassas

Please come to the town hall and demonstrate your support for the Rural Crescent.  We need to keep our green – in our pockets, and in our environment – it’s a win-win.

This is a bipartisan town hall, organized by Supervisor Jeanine Lawson, with Supervisors Frank Principi and Pete Candland joining.  Smart land use knows no party affiliation.  Supervisors in the east and the west, both Democrat and Republican, understand all too well the negative consequences of busting open our Rural Crescent.  We all pay for schools, roads, libraries, fire and rescue.  High density development in the rural area takes resources away from our higher population nodes.  Schools, like Stonewall Jackson, deserve to have the same resources as our newer schools.  Good land use policy benefits all, not just a few.
