Dear Coalition Friends and Supporters,
(Take Action Below!)
Can you believe it: The Data Center Coalition wants us to ‘THANK THEM’ for being ‘willing’ to turn on their diesel generators — to protect a grid that THEIR load demand is putting at risk?!
Recent updated calculations identify 10,000 data center diesel generator permits in Northern Virginia alone, located near our homes, our schools, our parks, our daycares, our assisted living communities, and our places of worship …… they are everywhere.
“A single 2MW diesel generator operating at full load emits approximately 45kg of NOx and 1.3kg of PM per hour—equivalent to 350 passenger vehicles”
Click on the Facebook link below to see what it means when Data Centers use their ‘demand response’ program to ‘protect the grid.’ Remember, WE as ratepayers GIVE those high energy users MONEY to run THEIR dirty diesel. Yes – THOSE very same users that are responsible for creating the stress on our grid.

If you live near a data center ANYWHERE in Virginia with running Diesel Generators, please fill out this form so we can keep track as VDEQ is not going to be sharing any information with the public.

Make a new plan, Stan
You don’t need to be coy, Roy
Just get yourself free
Hop on the bus, Gus
You don’t need to discuss much
