Miranda Spivack visited western Prince William County two and a half years ago, when she was close to finishing her book. She witnessed early on the destructive consequences of data center sprawl when Coalition leadership ‘introduced’ her to the Village Tech Park data center campus consuming our community.
While her published book does not also include the ever-widening crisis of unconstrained data center sprawl, her coverage and our personal real-life experiences have much in common.
Please join Miranda and the executive director of the Coalition for an evening together to discuss Miranda’s journey getting to know the people around the country fighting to protect their homes and their community because those in elected leadership roles were failing them.
Miranda’s research identified common threads across the organic rise of grassroots organizations that figure out how to stand up for themselves, because no one else would. Does any of this sound familiar?
