Dear Coalition friends and supporters,
Would it shock you to know that the FOUR district supervisors (Boddye, Franklin, Bailey, Angry) representing every district on the east end of our county, voted to disband – in a surprise move – the critical DCOAG that Supervisor Bob Weir wholeheartedly adopted?
Would it shock you to know that Occoquan Supervisor Kenny Boddye, with no input from the community — in particular the ACTUAL Data Center Ordinance Advisory committee that includes residents impacted by data centers — has created his own noise ordinance?
Supervisor Bob would be disgusted at the lack of transparency and the cutting out of citizens to create good policy.
Who, What, When, Where, How … was Supervisor Boddye’s noise ordinance established? – based upon? – with what expertise?
Residents of this county have had enough of these shenanigans. The price WE are paying is too high, in particular in the Gainesville and Brentsville Districts. We deserve, no WE DEMAND, full representation and transparency.
We have included below the outreach from the HOA Roundtable, which is comprehensive on details.
What can YOU do?
Show up, demand open government and open process. Demand that the nearly 70,000 residents in the Gainesville District get a vote on the future of this county and how we control the growing detrimental impacts of data center overload.
-> Show up in person: Tuesday October 28th, 2 PM – One County Complex (McCoart Building) Woodbridge, VA
