To the Editor:
I am a recently retired data center worker. The majority of my career was dependent on the data center industry with a focus on the physical infrastructure layer, power and cooling. My point is that I understand very well how dependent water is to successful and efficient operation. The data center industry is very important to our region, Virginia and the county overall.
That said, I am a PW County resident who cares about our environment. Based on the facts outlined in your recent article, I am very concerned and disturbed by the irresponsible action of the Supervisors.
Their action makes the appearance that those who voted to proceed are bought and paid for by those who stand to profit from moving forward with development in the absence of sensible study and necessary limits on adverse environmental impacts.
