Here is all we have to say to the residents of Prince William County ——–
YOU ARE AMAZING! Last week we reported that we had surpassed 700 signatures for both recalls.
Today, we are thrilled to share that signatures on the Pete Candland recall are at 1,063 – taking us over the halfway mark!
Now, about Ann…… WOW! People are waiting in line COUNTY-WIDE to sign the Wheeler recall. Drum roll please!………………..There are now 1,638 signatures on the Wheeler recall!
We are working with amazing volunteers to do outreach at specific locations throughout the county, and we will continue to post, on the Coalition to Protect PWC Facebook page, all the places for PWC voters to come add their signatures to the recalls.
At a time when so many people are frustrated with the lack of integrity and blatant self-interest impacting all of us, we have found that participating locally in restoring some semblance of integrity to our Prince William County government is empowering.
When good planning, facts, and science are being ignored, the People can still effect change, operating within the boundaries of Democracy.
Last week we had a citizen reach out and ask us to streamline the submittal of completed recall petition signature sheets. He recommended a P.O. Box. What a great idea! We now have PO Box 474, Haymarket, VA 20168 all set up. Trust us – every day we have to go and empty it out. Every . single . signature . matters. We don’t care if a signature form has one witnessed signature on an entire sheet.
Let’s remember why we ALL care about this beautiful County – from East to West! The Coalition invites everyone to please post a picture of what makes this County special to them – on the Coalition to Protect PWC Facebook page. Whatever picture gets the most likes will be posted as the background for the Coalition’s Facebook Page for one month!
