Please join numerous conservation organizations for an in-person event at the Winery at Sunshine Ridge Farms, located in Prince William’s beautiful Rural Crescent. Together we support a vision for Prince William County that values National Parks, farmland and forests, clean drinking water, housing diversity, and attractive, sustainable communities for everyone.
Treasured recreational amenities are threatened by applications to allow industrial development on approximately 2,000 acres in the Rural Crescent and adjacent to the Manassas National Battlefield Park and Conway Robinson State Forest. In addition, the County is considering expanding the Data Center Opportunity Overlay District into the rural areas of Prince William, including a site adjacent to the Prince William Forest (National) Park.
Representatives from sponsoring organizations will share information and answer questions regarding these troubling proposals and their significant impacts on our green open space, national parks, farmland, drinking water, and the availability of funds to address infrastructure needs in underserved areas.
