WASHINGTON — Dozens showed up at a community meeting Wednesday night in Haymarket, Virginia, to voice their concerns about proposed power lines in western Prince William County.
Many residents had questions about the project’s impact on the environment, as well as property values, through the area.
Dominion hopes to begin construction sometime next year.
The final decision on where the power lines are placed would be made by the State Corporation Commission, a Virginia regulatory agency.
