Our trip to the Virginia General Assembly in Richmond was a great success. We came away with commitments from Delegates Ramadan and Hugo to sign on as co-patrons to bill HB 2356 submitted by Delegate Marshall! We had 67 people from all over the Haymarket-Gainesville community and Rural Crescent travel on the bus (thanks to your contributions) and driving independently. We spent all day meeting with delegates and senators, letting them know that they must support the legislation put forward by Delegate Marshall, and that the only option acceptable for high transmission power lines is I-66 and buried, and a data center does not belong west of the town of Haymarket. Thanks to all the travelers and contributors that made this show of force possible!
