Industrial scale power lines should take in HUNDRED YEAR timelines so the extra expense to bury them should be acceptable. The people next to these lines will not benefit directly from these lines but will pay for them in visual impact, sound impact, property value impact and perhaps health impact. Homes can not draw power from these lines, they mainly feed industry.
