NOW is the time to DOUBLE DOWN – Not the time to give up!

Dear Coalition supporters and neighbors,

It is time to start showing up and defending where you live, where you raise your children, where you have invested in your biggest asset, your home, your family, and your friends. We have forced the wealthiest industry in the world and one of the wealthiest monopoly utilities in the nation, Dominion Energy, to admit what we all have known for some time….

Data Centers are taking…..

Too much Power
Too much Water
Too much Land

AND they ARE destroying our communities.

Gainesville District Strategic Plan Town Hall
6:30-8:30 PM
Tyler Elementary School

We hear it all the time, in random conversations with people out and about, in our salons, in our grocery stores, with our health practitioners.  Inevitably they all ask, “What can we do?”

WE SAY – SHOW UP to everything and anything that you can.  We – YOU – cannot depend on the same “someone else” doing the hard work over and over.

Are we going to lose a few fights along the way? – Yes.  But what we HAVE done is expose the truth.  Change CANNOT happen without transparency.

As the Coalition predicted when the Village Tech Park and the 66/29 massive data center campuses were approved, they would need multiple substations and 105 ft tall transmission line. NTT, the developer for the 66/29 data center campus, is now looking to get their infrastructure put in place.

Now is YOUR time to get active with YOUR opposition to YOUR community being slowly industrialized.

This is the NTT outreach letter sent to the Coalition:

On behalf of NTT, we are extending an invitation to an upcoming community meeting to provide an update on the proposed Atlas and Gemini substations in Prince William County. If approved the substations will be located on Dave’s Store Lane in Gainesville. This project will support the development of data centers already approved by Prince William County. Construction is underway for the data centers this project will support.

This is an example of a typical substation for a data center.

All of us are being forced to pay for THEIR needed power infrastructure so that THEY rake in all the profits, while Dominion reaches into OUR pockets!

June 18 is YOUR opportunity to SHOW UP and SAY SOMETHING about these plans!
